Cape Town - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his team for Saturday’s Super Rugby clash against the Stormers in Johannesburg (19:15 kick-off).
Ackermann has picked the same 23-man squad from the one which beat the Sharks 24-9 in Durban last weekend.
It is the first time this season that the same Lions team will take the field on two consecutive weekends.
“We are very happy that we can pick the same side as last week. We opted for continuity as it brings stability amongst other things. Thus we decided not the use our rotational system this week,” Ackermann commented.
Jaco Kriel has been included in the starting line-up after a knock on his arm. He will undergo a late fitness test on Friday to prove his full fitness.
