Lions to unveil new prop signing

Cape Town - The Lions look set to add to their prop stocks with the signing of prop forward Danie Mienie.

The 27-year-old, who formerly represented the Sharks, Cheetahs and Griquas, is set to return to South Africa after playing a season for Toulouse in France.

He posted on Instagram that he will next play for the Lions.

Mienie could serve as Jacques van Rooyen’s long-term replacement, with the latter reportedly set to join English side Bath at the end of the Lions’ Super Rugby campaign.

Onto the next chapter......
