Kriel boost for Bulls

Cape Town - Springbok and Bulls centre Jesse Kriel is back on the training pitch and will be ready for their clash against the Sharks in Pretoria on Friday, March 18.

Kriel missed last weekend’s match against the Melbourne Rebels due to concussion sustained in a training ground incident.

According to Netwerk24, the Bulls’ medical report was a favourable one following the 45-25 win over the Rebels.

“We emerged unscathed. Burger (Odendaal) has bruising on his leg, but it’s not serious,” said coach Nollis Marais.

Kriel’s availability was welcomed by Marais.

“With Jesse back, we’ll have quite a number of options at centre,” said Marais.

The Bulls have a bye this coming weekend.
