Kiwi ref for Stormers v Sharks

Cape Town - New Zealand’s Mike Fraser will referee Saturday’s South African Super Rugby derby between the Stormers and Sharks at Newlands (17:15 kick-off).

Fraser will be assisted by Ben O'Keeffe and Stuart Berry, with Marius Jonker the television match official (TMO).

Jaco van Heerden will referee the Southern Kings’ match against the Chiefs in Port Elizabeth (15:05). He will be assisted by Jaco Peyper and Rodney Bonaparte, with Johan Greeff the TMO.

Quinton Immelman will take charge of the Cheetahs’ clash against the Sunwolves in Singapore (12:55 SA time). Shuhei Kubo and Aki Aso will be his assistants, with Takashi Hareda in the TMO booth.

Another Kiwi, Chris Pollock, will be in charge of the Lions’ clash against the Highlanders in Dunedin early on Saturday (08:35 SA time). He will be assisted by Jamie Nutbrown and Kane McBride, with Aaron Paterson taking care of matters upstairs.

South Africa’s other team taking part in the competition, the Bulls, have a bye this weekend.
