Kings prop to join Cheetahs

Cape Town - The Cheetahs have secured the contracts of four tighthead props for next season.

The franchise announced via their official website that Tom Botha will join them from the Southern Kings, while they also announced contract extensions of Luan de Bruin, Gunther Janse van Vuuren and Johan Coetzee.

Botha, 25, who has been a key figure for the Kings this year, has signed for two years with the Cheetahs.

De Bruin, 23, has represented the Cheetahs in seven Super Rugby matches.

The 20-year-old Janse van Rensburg has been part of Free State's Currie Cup team in 2016 and has signed a two-year contract.

The 28-year-old Coetzee, nicknamed Aranos, has represented the Cheetahs in six Super Rugby matches in 2016 and also played Test rugby for Namibia last year.
