Cape Town - Retired referee Jonathan Kaplan has welcomed Craig Joubert to the '100 club' ahead of his milestone match on Saturday.
Super Rugby referee appointments: Round 14
Joubert will become only the third referee to handle 100 Super Rugby matches when he takes charge of the Jukskei derby between the Bulls and Lions at Loftus Versfeld.
Kick-off is at 17:05.
Joubert will join Kaplan (107) and Steve Walsh (111) in having achieved this remarkable feat.
The milestone comes in a memorable year for Joubert, who is one of five South African referees named on the 12-member panel to officiate at the Sevens at the Olympic Games in Rio in August.
It will also add another highlight to Joubert’s illustrious career, which includes officiating the 2011 Rugby World Cup final in New Zealand, as well as three Super Rugby finals - 2010, 2013 and 2014.
Kaplan too has a busy few days ahead with the Comrades Marathon on Sunday on his 'to do' list, followed by the birth of his son a day later.

I'm really not sure if I should be more worried about #Comrades2016 or my imminent parenthood #daddysboy
