Jantjies faces fitness test

Cape Town - Lions flyhalf Elton Jantjies will undergo a fitness test on Thursday to determine his availability for their Super Rugby clash against the Blues in Johannesburg.

Jantjies limped off with a knee injury in their loss to the Hurricanes late last month.

The injury is believed to not be as severe as initially feared and the Lions are hopeful that he will face the Blues this Saturday (19:15 kick-off).

Meanwhile, the Lions were boosted by the availability of hooker Malcolm Marx and prop Julian Redelinghuys, who had neck and wrist injuries respectively.
