Injury blow for Bulls No 8

    2018-04-17 08:27

Pretoria - The Bulls have suffered an injury blow with the news that No 8 Hanro Liebenberg will be sidelined for an extended period.

The Pretoria franchise announced on Monday that Liebenberg suffered a knee ligament injury in last Saturday's 40-10 win over the Sharks in Durban.

He will undergo surgery on Wednesday and is expected to be out for six to eight weeks, the Bulls said on their official website.

In some good news for the Bulls, wing Travis Ismaiel (back niggle) has started selected team sessions, while flank Nic de Jager has made a full recovery from a rib injury.

The Bulls next host the Melbourne Rebels in Pretoria this Saturday (15:05 kick-off).
