Haylett-Petty was identified as the person who relieved himself in the hotel corridor while Pek Cowan was pinged for using a team vehicle after the 1 am curfew. Cowan and Haylett-Petty had their captaincy and vice-captaincy roles taken away after the incident.

The Wallabies utility-back was named in another incident where he was in a fight with his brother that led to a vase being broken.

According to reports, Haylett-Petty has since reimbursed the hotel for the vase.

Both faux pas transpired at the team hotel in Bloemfontein after the Force's loss to the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein last weekend.

ARU Chief Operating Officer Rob Clarke ARU confirmed that the two players have been dealt with accordingly.

"Cowan, the Western Force captain, and team vice-captain Haylett-Petty were deemed to have breached the Australian Rugby player code of conduct in separate and unrelated incidents at the team hotel in Bloemfontein early on Sunday morning," said Clarke.

"Both players will be served breach notices containing a $5000 fine."

"Haylett-Petty will be served a breach notice for urinating in a public place while Cowan will be served a breach notice for gaining unauthorised access to a team vehicle after the team-agreed curfew of 1am."
