'Flash' is back in Chiefs fold!

Cape Town - The Chiefs have announced the arrival of former wing Lelia Masaga, who returns to the side as a back-up option should injuries strike.

Masaga, who left the franchise in 2013 after having made 91 Super Rugby appearances, has been playing his rugby in Japan in recent seasons.

But he is now back in Hamilton, with head coach Dave Rennie admitting the finisher is a decent back-up to have on their books during this year.

"Lelia's a good man so he could well feature (later in the campaign) if we get some injuries," coach Rennie told TVNZ of the 30-year-old wing.
