David Pocock arrives in Cape Town

Cape Town - Brumbies head coach Dan McKellar has selected a 28-man squad for their upcoming Super Rugby matches in South Africa and Argentina.

The Brumbies will play the Stormers at Newlands in Cape Town (Saturday, April 20 at 15:05) and the Jaguares at the Estadio Jose Amalfitani stadium in Buenos Aires (Saturday, April 27 at 23:40 SA time).

The Canberra-based side arrived in South Africa full of confidence following their 31-20 home victory over the Lions last Saturday.

Of most interest to supporters of the 2001 and 2004 tournament winners will be the possible return of star loose forward, David Pocock.

Zimbabwe-born Pocock was initially named in the team to play the Lions in what would have been his first match back after a calf injury.

However, he had to withdraw at the 11th hour after he failed to convince medical staff he was in fact 100 percent fit.

The Brumbies, who are currently third in the Australian Conference and 12th in the Overall standings, are expected to name their side on Thursday for Saturday's clash.
