Crusaders back Bedwell-Curtis for Super Rugby final

Christchurch - Crusaders coach Scott Robertson has made one injury-enforced change to his starting line-up for Saturday's Super Rugby final against the Lions.

Heiden Bedwell-Curtis starts in the No 6 jersey in place of Jordan Taufua, who broke his arm last weekend's semi-final win over the Hurricanes.

The 27-year-old Bedwell-Curtis wasn't contracted to the Crusaders at the start of the year, initially getting called in only as injury cover.

There is also one change on the Crusaders bench. Last weekend's reserve hooker, Seb Siataga, also fractured his arm in that match and has been replaced by Sam Anderson-Heather as back up to Codie Taylor.

In total, 19 of the Crusaders' match-day 23 were also involved in last year's final against the same opposition in Johannesburg, when the Crusaders won 25-17.

Saturday's clash is scheduled for 09:35 (SA time).
