Cape Town - Star All Blacks hooker Dane Coles has been included in the Hurricanes touring squad for their upcoming two-match tour of South Africa.
According to the Stuff website, Coles has been battling a nagging calf injury for the majority of the last few seasons and last made an appearance in Round 5 in mid-March.
The 27-man squad features a 16-forward, 11-back split.
The Hurricanes begin their tour against the Sharks in Durban next Saturday, June 1 (15:05) before facing the Lions in Johannesburg the following weekend (Saturday, June 8 at 15:05).
The Hurricanes, Super Rugby champions in 2016, will complete their regular season matches at home against the Blues in Wellington on Saturday, June 15 (09:35 SA time).
The Hurricanes are currently second in the New Zealand Conference and fourth in the Overall standings.
