Clean bill of health for Lions

    2016-05-16 18:55

Cape Town - The Lions have reported no injuries following their comprehensive 43-5 annihilation of the Blues in Johannesburg at the weekend.

Humiliated 50-17 at home by the Hurricanes in their previous match, the Lions took out their frustrations on another New Zealand team by scoring seven tries in Johannesburg.

The bonus-point win lifted the Lions to pole position in the South African group, one point above the Stormers.

This Saturday, the Lions will welcome the Jaguares to Ellis Park (15:00 kick-off).
