Clean bill of health for Bulls

Cape Town - The Bulls have no new injury concerns following their 41-22 Super Rugby win over the Reds in Pretoria last Saturday.

The Bulls have a bye this weekend before embarking on a three-game tour to Australia where they will face the Force (Perth, April 29), Brumbies (Canberra, May 6) and Waratahs (Sydney, May 14).

“Luckily we’ve got a bye this week, so we are in the fortunate position to have the guys resting for a week,” said team doctor Herman Rossouw.

“We are also in the fortunate position to have our whole squad available for selection for the upcoming tour to Australia as we had no injuries after our game against the Reds. I trust that the rest will do them good and we’re looking forward to our tour.”

Players on the long-term injury list include centre Burger Odendaal (quad, back mid-May), fullback Warrick Gelant (jaw, three weeks) and flyhalf Handre Pollard (knee, return date TBA).
