Cheetahs name team to face Stormers

Cape Town - Cheetahs coach Franco Smith has named his team for Saturday’s Super Rugby clash against the Stormers in Bloemfontein on Saturday (15:05 kick-off).

Smith made a few changes to the team that beat the Sunwolves 47-7 in Singapore in late May.

In the backline, skipper Francois Venter returns to outside centre in place of William-Small Smith, who is on the bench, while Tian Meyer starts in place of Shaun Venter at scrumhalf.

Up front, Elandre Huggett starts at hooker in place of the injured Torsten van Jaarsveld, with Joseph Dweba coming in on the bench.

Reniel Hugo is also  making his return to Super Rugby after being sidelined by an injury sustained in the game against the Bulls in March, replacing Carl Wegner at lock.

Niell Jordaan is also at No 8, with returning Springbok Oupa Mohoje featuring on the bench.
