Pretoria - The Bulls have one new injury concern ahead of their Super Rugby opener against the Stormers at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday (17:15 kick-off).
Newly-recruited Springbok hooker Schalk Brits strained his calf in the warm-up match against the Sharks in Ballito and his progress will be monitored.
A call on his availability will be made later in the week.
The Bulls also have several players on the long-term injury list.
Flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff, wing Travis Ismaiel and flank Marco Van Staden will be sidelined for four more weeks, with hookers Edgar Marutlulle and Jaco Visagie sidelined for between three and four weeks.
Lock RG Snyman and utility back Duncan Matthews have undergone successful ankle surgeries and will be out for six and eight weeks respectively.
