Pretoria - Springbok centre Jesse Kriel is fit to return to action for the Bulls when they face the Hurricanes in the Super Rugby quarter-finals on Saturday.
Kriel has been sidelined with an ankle injury in recent weeks, and while it was initially hoped that he would be ready to face the Lions last weekend, it was decided to give him another week to recover.
There was, however, also some bad news for the Bulls following their 48-27 win over the Lions, with centre Burger Odendaal unlikely to face the Hurricanes due to a collar bone injury.
Team doctor Herman Rossouw said on Monday that Odendaal will fly with the team to New Zealand but did not have high hopes on the player's availability.
Rossouw added that lock Jason Jenkins has recovered from a quad injury and will be available for this selection.
Schalk Brits has come through his concussion protocols but is currently battling flu, with the Bok hooker to be given time to recover from his illness.
