Bok boost for Lions ahead of Stormers clash

Cape Town - As they prepare to face the Stormers, the Lions have been boosted by the return to fitness of Springboks Ross Cronje and Jamba Ulengo.

Scrumhalf Cronje has recovered from an ankle injury, while wing Ulengo is fit again after being sidelined with a calf injury.

Cronje played 10 Tests for the Springboks in 2017, while Ulengo played a solitary Test against Wales in Cardiff in 2016

Meanwhile, scrumhalf Andre Warner remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while Springbok loose forward Willem Alberts will not be available as he continues his recovery from a bicep injury.

The burly loose-forward, known as the "Bone Collector", recently signed a deal to return to the Lions after spending five years at Stade Francais in France.

Saturday's Lions v Stormers clash at Ellis Park is scheduled for 15:05.
