Aussie referee takes charges of Stormers v Crusaders

Cape Town - Australian referee Nic Berry will take charge of Saturday's Super Rugby encounter between the Stormers and Crusaders at Newlands.

Kick-off is at 17:15.

Berry will be assisted by a trio of South Africans - Marius van der Westhuizen and AJ Jacobs as assistant referees - and Marius Jonker as television match official (TMO).

Earlier in the day, South Africa's Rasta Rasivhenge will referee the Lions' match against the Highlanders at Ellis Park (15:05).

Rasivhenge will be assisted by compatriots Jaco Peyper and Griffin Colby, with Willie Vos the TMO.

On Friday, Argentina's Federico Anselmi will referee the Bulls' clash against the Rebels in Melbourne (11:45 SA time).

Anselmi will be assisted by Australians Damon Murphy and Aaron Pook, with Ian Smith the TMO.

Meanwhile, South Africa's Egon Seconds, who copped criticism for his officiating in last weekend’s Waratahs v Lions match, was not assigned a match in any capacity this weekend.
