Aussie ref for Lions in Argentina

    Cape Town - Australia’s Rohan Hoffmann will referee the Lions’ crucial Super Rugby clash against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires on Saturday (kick-off 23:40 SA time).

    Super Rugby referees: Round 17

    Hoffmann will be assisted by Angus Gardner and Federico Anselmi, with Santiago Borsani the television match official (TMO).

    It's an important match for the Lions, who can finish atop the overall standings if they win.

    Earlier in the day, Craig Joubert will referee the South African derby between the Cheetahs and Bulls in Bloemfontein (19:15).

    Joubert will be assisted by AJ Jacobs and Lourens van der Merwe, with Johan Greeff on TMO duty.

    Jaco Peyper will be in charge of the Stormers v Southern Kings clash in Cape Town (17:05).

    Peyper will be assisted by Quinton Immelman and Rodney Bonaparte, with Shaun Veldsman in the TMO booth.

    Rasta Rasivhenge will be the referee for the Sharks’ clash against the Sunwolves in Durban on Friday (19:00).

    Rasivhenge will be assisted by Cwengile Jadezweni and Archie Sehlako, with Marius Jonker calling the shots from above.
