Augustine Pulu ruled out for 6 weeks

Cape Town - Blues captain Augustine Pulu will miss around the next six weeks with a leg injury he sustained in the 27-21 loss to the Chiefs on Friday.

Pulu was forced off in the 66th minute, having capped an impressive outing with a try. Sam Nock and Jonathan Ruru are the other scrumhalves in the squad.

Meanwhile the Blues have had some good news as Sonny Bill Williams, who missed the Chiefs match after suffering knee and head knocks, has started training fully and is expected to play in the coming weeks.

The Blues have lost both of their opening matches and are now on their way to South Africa where they will be playing the Lions and the Stormers.

The Blues then return home to New Zealand for a bye, where after they play the Sharks at Eden Park.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
