Crusaders shuffle side for Lions showdown

Cape Town - Crusaders coach Scott Robertson has named his team to tackle the Lions in a Super Rugby clash in Christchurch on Friday.

Kick-off is at 09:35 (SA time).

The Crusaders are coming off a bye week and Robertson has made a few changes to the team that beat the Highlanders 43-17 at home on April 12.

Up front, All Black Codie Taylor returns to start at hooker, while lock Quinten Strange and flank Billy Harmon have been given an opportunity to start as All Blacks duo Scott Barrett and Matt Todd are rested.

Utility forward Mitch Dunshea has also been named in the match-day squad, providing cover in the No 19 jersey.

In the backline, Mitch Drummond will start at scrumhalf and Ereatara Enari takes a spot on the bench.

There is a reshuffle out wide with All Black George Bridge returning to the left wing, Braydon Ennor moving in from the wing to the midfield and Sevu Reece lining up on the right wing.

Finally, 20-year-old wing Ngane Punivai is set to make his debut for the Crusaders, having been named on the bench for this clash with the Lions.
