Hope he and his linesman picks up the knockons:):):) Goodluck Steve Anybody know what happened with regards to the punch up where a white card between Saders and Chiefs was shown??

      brandon.styles.14 - 2012-07-30 07:17

Hope the Sharks don't make any mistakes in the Chiefs half, that will cost them the game just like the stormers. Bhahahahahahahhahahahahhhahah.

      tom.tardis - 2012-07-30 07:17

and the forward passes like the ones aplon receives to score tries

      tom.tardis - 2012-07-30 07:35

isak bud ur team was outclassed by a real rugby team. played the man in the air. by man i think u mean ball and by in the air i think u mean over the try line for a try. and by forward pass jp received i think u mean sealed the deal. stormers choke again! every non stormer goes wild and isak prepares the crack pipe

      brandon.styles.14 - 2012-07-30 07:41

The white card incident ??? They had a look look at it and it was decided that the Stormers was guilty of lack of rugby knowledge and that the team is full of palookas and has beens and they should play Vodacom rugby instead of S15, The Kings should play in their place next year.

      john.edwards.733450 - 2012-07-30 07:46

played the man in the air ?? It was a contestable kick , he launched himself in the air at the same time zzzztormerzzz mr PH. And JP's pass was fine, but whatever you have to tell yourself to ease the pain .

      sagrys.haasbroek - 2012-07-30 07:50

@Isak,hel maar jy is n onnosele suurgat

      cape.maori - 2012-07-30 08:26

@Lionel Kerm - what happened to your predictions!! hahahha - the Sharks were not penalised in their own half or were they?

      raymond.romans.5 - 2012-07-30 08:28

Brandon, they couldn't even kick in our half, so much for that prediction. Haha.

      raymond.romans.5 - 2012-07-30 08:30

Isuck, you were totally outplayed. Don't even start blaming the ref. What about JdV intentionally blocking our player in a ruck on our side of play. What about the fat redhead clearly playing McLeod off the ball with a forearm to the neck?

      steyts - 2012-07-30 08:31

The pass to JP was flat and the ludik call was marginal but fair... Doesn't matter which way you want to argue, the sharks was the better team on the field and they deserve to be in the final!! They are the best SA team at the moment...

      paul.sdoow - 2012-07-30 10:34

yes we were out played they did the homework and did the hard work for the points. as for the ref he made some or didn't make some calls but for both sides not just one sided after all he is human. we got further than expected from all the injuries and learn lessons and have guaranteed players for next few years so its not all bad.

      john.edwards.733450 - 2012-07-30 17:23

graeme LOVE your profile pic !!

  • danie.fick.98 - 2012-07-30 07:26

Steeds geen Du Plooy nie!!!! Idioot

  • leigh.mapu - 2012-07-30 07:48

Oh no, not Steve "love the sound of my voice" Walsh. As a chiefs fan, I'd rather have Joubert (a SA ref) officiating...

      Taurus.Blue1 - 2012-07-30 08:04

@leigh, Steve Walsh does love himself, but he had a great season this year and is probably the better of the lot.

      Priesterb - 2012-07-30 08:45

leigh.mapu I wish to disagree with any SA ref being chosen. I firmly believe that the SA team will be disadvantaged by an SA ref as the ref would want to prove that he is not biased. Therefore any 50/50 call will go against the SA team. A ref from the Northern Hemisphere would have been more appropriate. Blou Bul Groete!

      leigh.mapu - 2012-07-30 08:48

So your answer is to let a New Zealander ref?

      Taurus.Blue1 - 2012-07-30 09:03

@leigh, I agree with Priester however the NH refs are not used during the SR competition and therefore cannot be used. So yes, we are stuck with SW (ex NZ), the better of the lot

      donavan.boshoff - 2012-07-30 09:21

i thought it was only us south africans who bitched about the refs? well, us and graham henry hahaha well atleast masanga wont be coconutting mvovo on saturday

      Priesterb - 2012-07-30 09:32

leigh, I am not saying a NZ should ref. Steve is arguably the best ref for this game even though he had some terrible performances last year. We have seen endless arguments about the refs being biased therefore my argument for NH refs. They should be drawn in to the S15 series and the SH refs into the Six Nations and Heineken cup series.

TravieGrif - 2012-07-30 11:21 understanding is that Walsh now considers himself Australian (we all have issues in our life...don't judge him). I think that at this level he will blow pretty evenly, and I certainly do hope this is the case. I don't want to see games decided on ref decisions and interference. Hoping for a really entertaining game. Chiefs have had a great season, and they have not had to travel around the globe as we have, but I still have faith! Sharks Forever.

  • tony.naidoo - 2012-07-30 08:07

    Just keep it fair!

  • danny.cohen.315 - 2012-07-30 08:13

Jis, snaaks dat alle Bulls en Stormers supporters so groot-bek hier tekere gaan. Sit af jul rekenaars tot volgende jaar.

  • cape.maori - 2012-07-30 08:27

It was the ref''s fault!!! hahahahahhaha

  • Nicholas Taylor - 2012-07-30 08:30

Well at least the Sharks won't have any problem beating the Chiefs with Walsh in their back pocket.

      Marcus - 2012-07-30 08:46

Oh Nicholas I wouln't be that sure...I think Mr Walsh will support the team where he stands to benefit the most...for these games they should have brought in neutral ref's ( 6 nationa ) - if they can officiate test matches then they should qualify for Super rugby

      jack.mcgurkin - 2012-07-30 08:47

Sour grapes always blame the ref!

      paul.sdoow - 2012-07-30 10:55

agree totally marcus. it would also help the three southern sides to recognise what they look for when in control as when world cup comes sanzar always gets heavily penalized the first match when a n hemi ref in charge. and vice versa why not get more s hemi refs helping in six nations. it would uniform the reffing standard and also make players aware of the degree of punishment when infringement occurs. same incident might only be a penalty for one ref or a yellow for another or even a red look at high tackles? there is a guideline but its also the ref ultimate decision in interpretation of the degree?

      tom.tardis - 2012-07-30 13:02

the balding frenchman should have been brought it. what a champion ref

  • Marcus - 2012-07-30 08:31

Just a thought.. Who would benefit most from a Stomers - Sharks victory... if Stomers won ....Naturally the Stomers + supporters + a large majority of SA ( final in Cape Town ) if Sharks won ..Sharks + supporters + whole of New Zealand So, who gets the job to officiate ? - naturally a New Zealand ref ( ok Australian now ..but born and bred NZ ) Take a look at all the 50/50 decisions ...not retreating 10 after a penalty, forward passes etc etc etc All those who thing Walsh ( hic) had agood game ..pls email news 24 on monday after the final - watch out for the strange decisions that will go in favour of the Chiefs...

      maakdiebulle.almalbokke - 2012-07-30 09:04

O jealousy thou magnifier of trifles

      TravieGrif - 2012-07-30 11:25

Oh please Marcus. I totally disagree about the 50/50 decisions. What about Kanko penalised for coming through the MIDDLE of the maul. And Bissie right in front of our poles, and on both occasions replays showed that they were legal moves. Get over it. We have a certain plate that has been given to us, and we work with that. We have to fly to NZ. So be it. We have Walsh as ref. So be it. Do your best with what you have, and leave nothing in the tank when you are finished. Then walk away with your head held high, not moaning and groaning about what wasn't!

  • travis.w.morris - 2012-07-30 08:52

oh no. I hope this will not be the same as 2007 final. GO SHARKS!!!!!!!!!!

  • rastian.johnson - 2012-07-30 09:51

Let's just hope Walshe has his eyes open for this one. I am a stormer, but will back sharks.... Go South Africa!!!!!!!!

  • sharkie.fin - 2012-07-30 10:11

    @ ISAK.VISSER - CHOKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      steyts - 2012-07-30 11:00

By saying the stormers choked is actually a slap in the face for the sharks... I don't think the stormers choked, they just lost to a better team... End of story!!

      sharkie.fin - 2012-07-30 11:10

@ Steyts - Three years in a row the stormers made it to the knockout stages. Three years in a row they failed. I see your point. Now see mine - CHOKERS.

      john.edwards.733450 - 2012-07-30 15:56

no steyts they choked , actually EPIC CHOKE , if you've every single factor in your favor and you lose you CHOKED !

  • hans.himmler.7 - 2012-07-30 10:35

Payback time Steve Walsh, better not "get it wrong" again like you did in 2007....D**S! BLACK . WHITE . DYNAMITE

  • lindy.leroux - 2012-07-30 12:08

jip. most consistent in NOT Blowing High Tackles all season!!! once again not blowing even 1 of the 10-15 high tackles from both sides on Saterday! " J "

      tom.tardis - 2012-07-30 13:09

he didnt ref the breakdown either but let both sides go off their feet so in effect it was fair the guy had a great game. i really watched to see. he missed a knock on in the beginning of the game from the sharks in a mall, then he missed a forward pass that sent aplon over the line. otherwise the guy was a f-ing champ. i dont like him at all but he really had a great game on saturday.

  • elizabeth.bothma.58 - 2012-07-30 12:26

Well done Sharks, you were the better team on the day. I am and will always be a Stormer/WP supporter, have been for years. What makes me sad and I fail to understand is the nastiness of some supporters of the other teams when we loose. Yes, there are nasty Stormer supporters as well, who not only run the other teams down but their own team, but why be so nasty and rude and run the team down? The guys that are in the team are nice guys, no one is perfect and can play a perfect game every time. We have a bunch of young guys who stepped up to the plate with all our injuries and they played their hearts out. won 14 out of 16 matches. You support your teams and with positive remarks say that they will win. Why run us down when we say our team will win. South African supporters must be the worst and most fickle supporters in the world, at times. Go Sharks, do South Africa proud and kick Chiefs but!!

      cape.maori - 2012-07-30 12:48

Go to Oprah with your sad stories!!

      john.edwards.733450 - 2012-07-30 16:06
