Cape Town - Western Province and Stormers coach Allister Coetzee says they will do their best to make Samoan Sailosi Tagicakibau stay in Cape Town.
The 31-year-old, who has represented Samoa in three Rugby World Cups, was loaned to the Stormers for this year's Super Rugby competition from English club, London Irish.
Tagicakibau mostly plays on the wing, but performed adequately at outside centre for the Stormers in their 16-0 win over the Bulls at Newlands last weekend.
In an interview with Die Burger, Coetzee said Tagicakibau is the ideal player to partner Juan de Jongh in midfield, especially when Jean de Villiers and Damian de Allende out injured.
Coetzee said Tagicakibau 's size (1.93m and 100kg) counts in his favour and the union will "do our best to retain his services".
