50-up for Cheetahs' Sadie

Bleomfontein - Johann Sadie will play his 50th Super Rugby game of his career when the Cheetahs take on the Lions in their final Super Rugby match of the season at Ellis Park on Saturday.

According to the Cheetahs website, coach Naka Drotské named an unchanged team for the clash, sticking to the recipe which brought him success in their win over the Cell C Sharks in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Captain Adriaan Strauss said that the match provides the Cheetahs with an opportunity to beat every one of the South African Super Rugby teams this season after they narrowly lost 20-21 during the opening week of the tournament.

"Hopefully we can end off on a high, it won’t be easy, especially if you look at their last performance," Strauss told the supersport.com website.

Sadie made his debut for the Stormers in 2011 before moving to the Bulls in 2012.

He joined the Cheetahs last year, but has since decided to make another move, to Japan, where he will play for NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes to further his career after the Super Rugby season.

He has yet to decide if he will return to South Africa after the Japanese season.

Kickoff for Saturday's encounter is scheduled for 17:05.
