According to the SuperXV website, all 25 000 tickets were sold out by Wednesday.
Chiefs fans camped outside the stadium in Hamilton on Tuesday night (NZ time) and queued from the early hours of the morning to secure their tickets.
The Chiefs are the defending champions having won the title for the first time last year when they beat the Sharks 37-6 at the same ground.
Jake White's Brumbies will be contesting their first final since 2004, when they beat the Crusaders 47-38 in Canberra.
