Cape Town - Stormers coach Allister Coetzee says the final 20 minutes of their clash against the Lions in Johannesburg will be key.

"We're playing on the Highveld and the Lions often come up with a strong effort in the last 20 minutes. You have to prepare accordingly," Coetzee told Die Burger's website.
The Lions showed their prowess at the tail-end of games during last year's Currie Cup. They overcame a 22-3 deficit to eventually draw 31-31 with Western Province at Ellis Park and also scored six tries in the last 30 minutes to thump the Blue Bulls 62-23 at Loftus Versfeld.
Therefore, Coetzee wants to make sure he picks players on the bench who can come on and make an impact.
"You have to make sure that you're even stronger at the end than when you started the game. It's something to keep in mind when reflecting on combinations and impact players," said Coetzee.
"For example, we can afford the luxury of having (loose forwards) Nizaam (Carr) and Deon (Fourie) on the substitutes bench. Both are quality players. We have good options."
Duane Vermeulen, Siya Kolisi and Schalk Burger are expected to be the starting loose-trio.
Coetzee will name his team later on Wednesday.
Kick-off for Saturday's game at Ellis Park is at 19:10.
