La Rochelle - Promoted Top 14 side La Rochelle announced on Friday the signing of former All Black Jason Eaton along with Australian Alofa Alofa and ex-Springbok Peter Grant on two-year deals.

Lock Eaton, 31, has 17 caps for the All Blacks. He played 80 matches for Super Rugby side, the Hurricanes, during a seven-year spell before joining NTT Shining Arcs in Japan last season.

New Zealand-born wing Alofa, 23, played last season for the Waratahs, while South African flyhalf Grant, 29, who has five caps for the Springboks, has played for the Stormers since 2004.
