Pretoria - Bulls flank Deon Stegmann will miss Saturday's Super Rugby clash against the Rebels in Melbourne due to a rib injury, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed on Monday.
Stegmann picked up the injury against the Brumbies in Canberra last weekend.
This Rebels match will be the last one on tour for the Bulls, who will be looking for a solid performance to close out the four weeks in Australasia.
Centre Jan Serfontein, who left the tour a week ago due to a knee injury, will be back in two weeks’ time.
Irne Herbst and Piet van Zyl, who are both ruled out for the remainder of the season with knee injuries, head the long-term injury list. Pierre Schoeman (knee), Bandise Maku (pectoral) and Ruan Steenkamp (knee) will all return on July 31 and Ryan Nell (knee) and Duncan Matthews (knee) on August 31.
