Cape Town - Bulls captain Pierre Spies believes they have enough quality players to achieve success in Super Rugby.
The men from Pretoria have experienced a topsy turvy sort of season in which they struggled to put consistent performances together week after week.
However, despite this they still top the South Africa Conference with five wins from eight games, and the skipper believes last week's 34-0 win over the Kings in Port Elizabeth could be the turning point in their season, as they prepare to face the Waratahs in Pretoria on Saturday.
"A match like the one against the Kings just strengthens the belief in what we're trying to achieve," Spies said on the Beeld website.
"We saw what we are capable of. The most important thing is to get the right result. If I can use the Force game (a 36-26 win) as an example: that was not a good performance. Yet we still won and scored four tries. That's what it's all about."
Spies also believes they have enough "special" players to turn the season into a memorable one.
"It often happens that a game develops different to what one envisions. Then you have to rely on hard work and grind out a result. That's why we need special players. Guys who believe in what we do. We have those types of players, and we have to prove it again this week."
The clash at Loftus Versfeld kicks off at 17:05 on Saturday.
