Cape Town - The Sharks will play a friendly match against English club Saracens as part of their Super Rugby preparations.
Saracens confirmed via their official website that the game will take place at Allianz Park in London on Saturday 25 January, 2014.
The match has been approved by the South African Rugby Union (SARU), and will be presented for approval by the English RFU Board this week.
Saracens Director of Rugby, Mark McCall, said they are looking forward to facing a Springbok-laden Sharks outfit.
“Our players will enjoy the challenge presented by a full-strength Sharks team, packed with Springboks like Bismarck du Plessis and Francois Steyn, and it’s sure to be a fantastic rugby occasion at Allianz Park," he said.
Sharks CEO, John Smit, said the match will form a crucial part of their preparations for the new Super Rugby season.
It will be the first match in charge for new Sharks coach Jake White.
