SBW cleared for Crusaders clash
Cape Town - Sonny Bill Williams has been cleared to start for the Chiefs at inside centre in their Super Rugby showdown with the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 09:35 SA time.
Williams was a late scratching with a knee complaint against the Blues a fortnight ago, but has been given the 'ok' to start in a mouth-watering, head-to-head showdown with Dan Carter.
Ngatai also makes a return to outside centre after five weeks off with ankle and hamstring injuries.
In the back three, Tim Nanai-Williams has recovered from the finger
injury he picked up against the Stormers in Round 5 and moves onto the right wing,
with Tom Marshall switching to fullback. At scrumhalf, Brad Weber is
preferred to Augustine Pulu.
The forward pack remains unchanged from their 23-16 win over the Blues.
The Crusaders are currently fourth in the New Zealand Conference and
eighth in the Overall standings. The Chiefs find themselves second in
the NZ Conference and fourth overall, some eight points ahead of their
hosts on Saturday.
