Craig Joubert to ref S15 final

Cape Town - South African referee Craig Joubert has been confirmed as the man to take charge of the Super Rugby final between the Chiefs and Brumbies in Hamilton this coming Saturday.

Joubert was heavily criticised by pundits on social networking site Twitter for the manner in which he handled the scrums in the Bulls' semi-final loss to the Brumbies in Pretoria on Saturday. A last-gasp try gave the Brumbies a shock 26-23 win.

The Chiefs ensured a home final when they beat the Crusaders 20-19 earlier in the day.
