Peyper to ref Stormers-Sharks

Cape Town - Jaco Peyper will referee the South African Super Rugby derby between the Stormers and Sharks at Newlands this Saturday (19:10 kick-off).

Peyper will be assisted by Lourens van der Merwe and Quinton Immelman, while Deon van Blommestein will be the Television Match Official (TMO).

Saturday's other South African derby between the Lions and Cheetahs at Ellis Park (17:05) will be handled by Marius van der Westhuizen. Stuart Berry and Jaco van Heerden will be his assistants, with Shaun Veldsman on TMO duty.

The other South African referee in action in Round 18 of Super Rugby is Craig Joubert, who will take charge of the Crusaders v Highlanders clash in Christchurch on Saturday (kick-off 09:35 SA time).

The other game to be played on Saturday (Reds v Waratahs, 11:40) will he handled by Mike Fraser.

The three games to be played on Friday will be refereed by Glen Jackson (Blues v Chiefs, 09:35), Steve Walsh (Brumbies v Force, 11:40) and Rohan Hoffmann (Bulls v Rebels, 19:10).
