Ludeke: Bulls won key moments

Cape Town - Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has lauded the character of his players following their 17-10 Super Rugby win over the Sharks in Durban at the weekend.

The win at Kings Park left the men from Pretoria at the top of the South African conference and second on the overall standings.

"It's a fantastic feeling coming to a place where we don't often win and to see the scoreboard in our favour. We played really well and I believe the difference was that we played the important moments better," Ludeke told Netwerk24.

"There really wasn't much to choose between the teams and the clash was determined in a Test-like atmosphere. With the pressure we put on them, we forced them into conceding penalties."

This weekend, the Bulls travel to Cape Town to tackle the Stormers in a top-of-the-table conference clash.

The Bulls currently have 28 points after nine games, with the Stormers narrowly behind on 26 points.

However, the Bulls still have to tour to Australasia so this Saturday’s match at Newlands will go a long way determining the South African conference winner.
