FULL TIME: FORCE 40-11 WARATAHS. Force win by 29 points at home and in the rain as their departing captain scores a try and a penalty. Brilliant game for the hosts who outplayed a weak Waratahs side. Waratahs will be happy their season has come to an end. Force win by 29.
More pushing and shoving as Force win a penalty. The crowd cheering Hodgson on as he lines up he penalty. Lance looked at him as soon as they won the penalty. He is lining it up.
PENALTY, FORCE, HODGSON! 40-11: Dream finish for Hodgson as he slots in the penalty as Force win 40-11. They have totally dominated Waratahs in the wet conditions.
A couple of mistakes from the Waratahs and they show their frustration with some pushing and shoving. The referee again, trying to calm things down.
Lance with the restart and the Waratahs win a scrum for a knock on from Force.
TRY, WARATAHS, ROACH! 37-11: Good work from Hooper after the lineout and the ball goes to Roach who takes it over the line to score his first try in Super Rugby. Foley misses the conversion so the score will stay on 37-11. Force have the bonus point.
Foley finds touch and the Waratahs are still searching for their first try. They have a lineout here.
We are in the final 10 minutes and Force are looking for some gaps in the defence again. Folau holds on to the ball as he defends well and Waratahs win a penalty.
PENALTY, FORCE, LANCE! 37-6: Lance makes no mistake with an easy kick, with 10 minutes remaining, Force push their lead to 31 points.
Force on the attack again as they work the ball through a few phases. They manage to win a penalty for their trouble. Angus Ta'avao concedes the penalty for going off his feet in the ruck.
Phipps knocks the ball forward as Folau tries to start an attacking move with a pass. A couple of players coming on for the Force as the scrum is reset.
Force win the lineout as Lance kicks it into touch. The maul comes into play in the wet conditions, but Force concede a penalty for being caught offisde. Meakes the guilty party.
Waratahs trying to attack here but it will be a scrum to the Force. David Lolohea, who has just come on, will concede a penalty for the front row standing up.
A couple of replacements for the Waratahs, they need some energy in the middle.
PENALTY, FORCE, LANCE! 34-6: Force inflicting more pain on the Waratahs now as Lance adds 3 more points to the score. The lead is pushed to 28 points.
Lance's penalty hit the uprights and the Waratahs fail to clear the ball as the Force pounce on it and they win a penalty for Waratahs not rolling away. Lance will kick an easier penalty now.
Lance fails to kick it correctly and the score stays on 31-6, keeping the lead to 25 points.
Force manage to win the penalty, Hooper penalised for scrum infringement. Waratahs have conceded 10 penalties so far. Lance will look to kick this.
Force have the feed at the scrum, wet conditions are making things difficult. The scrum is reset as players slip.
The penalty goes against the Waratahs. Brache leaves the field. This is brilliant work from the Force defence. Michael Wells conceding the penalty for not releasing the ball and it is a big turn over for the hosts.
Waratahs on the attack, they work the ball through a few phases using Folau and Foley. They are on the 22m line.
Force on the attack again as they work the ball through a few phases before kicking it deep. Folau collects and Waratahs string a few phases together.
Another scrum and the Waratahs feed it. They pass the ball right, Foley kicks it but Force get the ball and Lance kicks it deep to Folau.
Waratahs have the feed at the scrum and the ball is out but Force manage to turn it over. Lance puts in a flat kick and Folau gathers the ball and puts it into touch.
The conversion is missed as Lance fails to kick it but the lead is 25 points under tough conditions.
TRY, FORCE, HODGSON! 31-6: The big shove comes for the Force and Hodgson scores in his final game for the Force. The skipper is having a great game tonight. The ball pops out of the scrum and Hodgson collects it to score.
The lineout is won by Force who form a maul and are pushing it strongly in the wet weather. Robertson concedes the penalty for bringing down the maul. Good move from Force again. They go to the lineout.
Dean Mumm doing some pushing and shoving as Waratahs win a penalty. The referee is trying to calm things down. Horne concedes the penalty for not rolling away.

CONVERSION, FORCE, LANCE! 26-6: It is a nice kick under rainy and wet conditions and the lead is pushed to 20 points by Force.
HALF-TIME: FORCE 26-6 WARATAHS. It has been a brilliant half for Force who have scored four tries, converted three and have posted a 20 point lead over the Waratahs. The visitors need to do something different in the second half to turn it around.
Foley brings the ball out from the scrum and passes to the right. Waratahs through a few phases now as they look for a gap. Turn over from Force.
TRY, FORCE, LANCE! 24-6: Brilliant try from Force! It is the turn over ball that is passed to Lance who puts in a brilliant run to go all the way. The Waratahs can't catch him and that will be another try for Force.
Just three minutes remaining in the first half and Waratahs have the feed at a scrum now. Waratahs need something from this just before the break.
Jono Lance kicks the ball but the conversion is missed by Force. They lead by 13 points.
TRY, FORCE, BRACHE! 19-6: The verdict is a try and Brache claims it. Three tries in the first half for the Force so far, Brache rolling over the ball and that will count for the hosts.
This could be a try, they are just checking the grounding with the TMO. Brilliant work from Haylett-Petty with a kick and Force are claiming a try.
Force have scored two tries and the Waratahs have not scored any yet. Their points have come from two penalty goals.
Half an hour into the game and both sides have conceded a few penalties. Waratahs concede the latest one through Jack Dempsey for joining the ruck incorrectly.
Force concede another penalty this time through Haylett-Petty for not releasing the ball.
PENALTY, WARATAHS, FOLEY 14-6. Hodgson penalised for not rolling away, which allows Foley to tee up right in front of the posts. He makes no mistake.
Faulkner is pinged for illegal scrummaging and Israel Folau lines up a shot goal from the halfway mark! It's his first ever kick at Super Rugby level and is a great effort but falls just short of the cross-bar!
The Force take the ball through the phases with their forwards close to the halfway line but it comes to nothing as Tetera Faulkner knocks on a pass from Michael Ruru.
The Waratahs take the ball through the phases with their forwards close to the Force's 22. Sekope Kepu and Dean Mumm are prominent ball carriers.

TRY, WESTERN FORCE, POLOTA-NAU! 12-3. The Force go on the drive at a line-out on the 'Tahs' five-metre line and Tatafu Polota-Nau is in control at the base. He spots the whitewash and dives over under a mass of bodies!
YELLOW CARD, WARATAHS, GORDON! Jake Gordon is sent to the sin bin after he slows the ball down cynically at a ruck deep inside his 22!

TRY, WESTERN FORCE, NEWSOME! 5-0. The Force open the scoring thanks to a brilliant try from Alex Newsome! He runs onto a pass from Curtis Rona, just outside the Waratahs' 22 and outpaces the cover defence before crossing for a deserved try!
