Butch starts for Lions

Johannesburg - Butch James has returned to the Lions’ starting line-up for their Vodacom Super Rugby match against the Sharks at Coca-Cola Park after serving his four-week suspension.

James was banned for a dangerous charge against the Brumbies in April. With Jaco Taute out with a shoulder injury, James slots into the No 12 jersey.

There are two other changes in the run-on side from the one that lost 17-11 to the Force last weekend.

Lock Hendrik Roodt is promoted to the second row in place of Ruan Botha, who is on international duty with the Baby Boks, while in the backline, wing Anthonie Volminck is rotated with Michael Killian.

Centre Waylon Murray will start on the bench after a long injury layoff.
