FULL-TIME: Stormers 29-28 Highlanders. That's SIX Super Rugby wins on the trot now for the Stormers against the Highlanders.

A deserved win by the Stormers, who showed great composure when going behind briefly in the second half. They showed some great attacking intent - which bodes well for the rest of the season.

80' - No 8 Duane Vermeulen kicks it out after the scrum to end the game. The Stormers win!

It turned out Jean de Villiers made the right call by not kicking for posts a few minutes ago...

79' - NO TRY! Five-metre scrum to the Stormers with 15 seconds left...

Just kick it out. Don't go for the try!

79' - TRY OR NO TRY! After a dominant lineout maul, Michael Rhodes goes over for the Stormers. Referee Craig Joubert says he couldn't see, so the TMO must decide...

78' - Less than two minutes to go and skipper Jean de Villiers opts for a lineout instead of going for posts. Will this come back to haunt him?

77' - But the hosts win back the ball and can attack in the right side of the field. They win a penalty when the Highlanders are caught off-side.

76' - Deon Fourie butchers a lineout inside Highlanders territory to hand over possession...

74' - TWEET

Scrum resets chewing up time here - The Highlanders

72' - PICTURE

71' - After a concerted period of attack inside the Stormers 22m area, the Highlanders lose it to bring relief for the home side... The hosts are lucky though. Replays show the ball went forward off Stormers captain Jean de Villiers.

69' - Kebble penalised for collapsing the scrum. This gives the visitors a chance to attack inside Stormers territory. Jeepers, this Stormers scrum is weak!

67' - De Allende follows up on a cross-kick from Grant, but unfortunately cannot hold on just after halfway. Had he held on, a try was possible...

67' - Cheslin Kolbe also replaces Kobus van Wyk. Good to see Kolbe back after a long injury layoff. Lets hope that knee holds up!

66' - Jurie van Vuuren is on at lock for Ruan Botha.

65' - Grant kicks the PENALTY from in front.

Stormers 29-28 Highlanders

65' - YELLOW CARD

Reserve Highlanders hooker Brayden Mitchell is off for 10 minutes for a tip tackle on Jaco Taute.

65' - Stormers again on the attack inside the Highlanders 22m area. They win a penalty after a dangerous tackle by a Highlanders player... The TMO is called into action.

63' - 15 AGAINST 15

Ntubeni's time in the sin-bin is up, but he doesn't come back on. He is replaced by Siya Kolisi. Schalk Burger had also gone off when Ntubeni was sent off, which saw Deon Fourie come on. Fourie will also stay on now...

62' - Oh dear, Duane Vermeulen drops the ball in contact just short of the tryline. He was out on the left wing and could have rounded off a another brilliant backline move the by the hosts.

61' - GRANT TO THE RESCUE FOR STORMERS?

Peter Grant on for Kurt Coleman at flyhalf.

60' - The Stormers defence has gone AWOL.

58' - CONVERSION by Renata.

Stormers 26-28 Highlanders

56' - TRY! Highlanders centre Malakai Fekitoa darts through the Stormers midfield to level the scores. They are making their numerical advantage count... Also a poor attempted tackle by Duane Vermeulen there!

55' - Louis Schreuder replaces Nic Groom at scrumhalf for the Stormers - as the Kiwis again surge up-field into Stormers territory...

54' - CONVERSION by wing Trent Renata.

Stormers 26-21 Highlanders

53' - TRY! Fullback Ben Smith scores after following up on a grubber kick from his scrumhalf... - all came after the visitors opted for a scrum.

52' - YELLOW CARD for Scarra Ntubeni who concedes a cynical penalty with the Highlanders on the Stormers line.

Craig Joubert likes to be harsh on the Stormers though. How many penalties have the Highlanders conceded in the red zone today??? That was the FIRST cynical one by the hosts.

52' - Highlanders hot on the attack now after another sniping break inside the Stormers 22m area from All Black scrumhalf Aaron Smith...

50' - It's a bit ironic that three of the Stormers tries have been scored by props - on a day they've been full of running...

49' - CONVERSION by Coleman.

Stormers 26-14 Highlanders

48' - BONUS POINT (This is not an error in print!) for the Stormers.

The last time this happened was in 2011 if I remember correctly...

48' - TRY! Kebble barges over for his first Super Rugby try!

47' - The Stormers win a very kickable penalty inside the Highlanders 22m area, but again they opt for an attacking lineout...

45' -  A great break from Damian de Allende on the right wing brings a huge roar from the Newlands crowd, but unfortunately Nic Groom drops his inside pass...

De Allende in line for Bok honours this year?

45' - Oliver Kebble replaces Steven Kitshoff at prop for the Stormers.

43' - The Stormers remain full of running. Great to watch the old WP style again!

41' - The Stormers butcher an early lineout on halfway when Scarra Ntubeni throws in skew...

40' - Welcome back for the second half. Lima Sopoaga gets play started...

Can the Stormers keep up the intensity? And will they finally score four tries in a game?

HALF-TIME: Stormers 19-14 Highlanders

The Stormers have played their best 40 minutes of rugby this season, but will ask themselves how they're only five points ahead.

38' - 30% territory and 30% possession and the Highlanders only trail by five points...

38' - CONVERSION by Sopoaga.

35' - Coleman's conversion just misses to the left...

Stormers 19-7 Highlanders

34' - TRY! Damian de Allende scores in the corner after a brilliant backline move from the Stormers. Some slick handling from the Stormers backs!

The move started when the Stormers stole a lineout ball off the Kiwis...

33' - TWEET

JdV incensed with Craig Joubert about constant Highlanders infringements in red zone. tells him, "but you're the No1 ref in the world." - Craig Ray

32' - Another dominant driving maul sees the hosts surge towards the tryline. Scrumhalf Nic Groom breaks away but is stopped just short. He isolates himself and concedes a penalty for holding on... Chance gone!

30' - Stormers brimming with confidence now as they launch a 20m driving maul from the kick-off. They win a penalty when the visitors come in from the wrong side...

29' - CONVERSION by Coleman.

Stormers 14-7 Highlanders

27' - TRY! Prop Frans Malherbe barges over for his second try of the afternoon!

It was set up when skipper Jean de Villiers took another quick tap following a penalty close to the tryline.

25' - Another Stormers attack inside the Highlanders 22m area, but wing Kobus van Wyk is tackled out in the corner.

A penalty advantage was played but referee Craig Joubert said it was over.

Stormers skipper Jean de Villiers is not happy with the decision and queries it...

15:30 - PICTURE

24' - Short break now as five players are spotted down. Battle field out there after a high intensity start to the game...

21' - Chance gone begging as the Stormers concede a free-kick at the ensuing scrum...

Pathetic call by Craig Joubert though. Replays show no Highlanders front-ranker had even attempted to engage at that scrum...

20' - NO TRY. TMO Deon van Blommestein says it's impossible to see whether a try was scored or not. It's a fair call - he couldn't see. Five-metre scrum for the hosts...

20' - This is a tough one. Taute was not in touch, but there's also no clear grounding...

20' - TRY OR NO TRY? Jaco Taute dives over in the corner after another brilliant backline move by the Stormers. But the TMO must check the decision...

20' - After 20 minutes, the Stormers have gained 163 running metres, compared to the Highlanders' 100.

Unless the Stormers are allowed 15 subs, they're going to be gassed in the final 20... - Zelim Nel

15' - Oh dear, can you believe it. Coleman hits the posts from right out in front! All Stormers players had retreated back to halfway as well...

That was shockingly poor from Coleman. He could have thrown the ball over from there!

14' - The Stormers are held up just short of the line, but referee Joubert goes back for the penalty in front of the uprights.

Coleman will go for goal...

13' - Enterprising running rugby brings the Stormers back into the Highlanders 22m area... They have a penalty advantage as the visitors are caught using their hands in the ruck...

11' - Stormers lineout woes continue as they lose their second throw-in...

9' - Stormers right back on the attack after winning the ensuing kick-off. But an intercept from the Highlanders sees play move back into the Stormers half... Helter-skelter stuff here!

8' - CONVERSION by Lima Sopoaga.

Stormers 7-7 Highlanders

6' - TRY! The visitors hit right back. A piece of individual brilliance by No 9 Aaron Smith, who broke through next to a ruck before chipping over the Stormers defence to gather and score!

That was the first chance at attack by the Kiwis and they finished off...

4' - Stormers immediately back up-field and a cross-kick from, yes, flank Schalk Burger almost works out, but the touchline wins...

Enterprising start by the hosts!

3' - Kurt Coleman lands the conversion. He was under pressure there as the wind had tipped the ball over...

Stormers 7-0 Highlanders

1' - TRY! Prop Frans Malherbe barges over near the corner for his first Super Rugby try. A brilliant, patient build-up by the home side there...

0' - Stormers hot on the attack after winning the ball from the kick-off. They win a penalty in front, but skipper Jean de Villiers takes a quick tap...

0' - Kurt Coleman gets play under way. Good to see him get a run in place of the out-of-form Peter Grant.

Craig Joubert is the referee - not a man the Stormers like to see.

14:55 - CONDITIONS

Partly cloudy, but not a particularity strong wind blowing.
