Not the best note for Allister Coetzee to finish as Stormers coach, but perhaps this was the right thing for the union - as the Stormers' game plan has been proven to fail, especially in big games when it really matters. A change in approach is needed by whoever comes in to coach the team next season.

A terrible performance from the Stormers. They simply fail to pitch - as is so often the case in knockout games when it really matters. A lack of composure and poor execution of skills!
Give credit to the Brumbies though, who outsmarted their opponents. They were simply better in all departments tonight!
