77' - The Lions take too long to put the ball into the lineout and concede the ball. The Sharks take it quickly and force their way towards the Lions line.

76' - The Sharks have a penalty on the halfway line as the Lions are penalised at scrum time. The scrums have been a real lottery today. Zeilinga kicks for the line and the Sharks will have a chance, 22m out from the Lions line.

73' - More brilliant defence from the Sharks as Lions replacement Fourie is pinged for not releasing. Zeilinga clears downfield into the Lions half. They need a score very soon if they are to win this one.

65' - Not a great lineout from the Lions, the Sharks win the ball through Wentzel who did really well allowing the Sharks to clear downfield.

64' - The Lions receive a penalty as Bothma goes offside in trying to stop a Lions rolling maul. Jantjies opts to kick the ball for touch and the Lions have a lineout 5m from the Sharks line.

60' - The Lions used the extra man to great advantage as Mapoe does brilliantly down the left hand touchline. Unfortunately for the Lions, they lose possession through an accidental obstruction 2m from the Sharks line. The Sharks will have a 5m defensive scrum.

58' - YELLOW CARD! The ref and TMO have decided between them that Esterhuizen will spend 10 minutes in the bin. The Sharks discipline woes continue.

There had been two earlier high tackles as well where the referee let advantage run.

47' - TRY to the Lions! They have another after excellent work by their backs. Mnisi ran on a big angle, taking some defenders with him. He found Vorster with a switch inside, and the big centre sped away from the defence and scored!

44' - TRY to the Lions! De Klerk, who has been a real livewire today gets over from in close. He waited patiently for the ball to emerge from the ruck, sold a dummy to Ndungane and forced his way over.

43' - What a run from Combrinck as he receives the ball on the right wing and cuts inside three times, beating three Sharks defenders. He is hauled down just short of the line.

32' - TRY to the Sharks! Excellent work from the Sharks backline as they work the ball through the hands, Coetzee comes in off his defender to try and stop Ndungane. The Sharks fullback manages to find Mvovo and that is that... no one can catch him as he runs it in from around 40m out.

26' - The Sharks move straight back onto the attack, Ndungane gets the ball on the left, but he is monstered out into touch. He did well to try an flick the ball inside, which came off a Lions players, so the Sharks have a lineout just inside the Lions 22m area.
