What an excellent game of rugby that was, some superb running skills on display. The Bulls ran into a well deserved 25 - 13 lead at half time, but the Lions came out like men possessed to eventually take the lead 25-26 in the 55th minute.
The Bulls were not giving up, regaining the lead through Spies, extending it through Pollard and holding on despite a late score by Kriel for the Lions.
