Cape Town - Kings director of rugby Alan Solomons says they are ready for the expected kicking duel with the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.
A massive cold front is set to hit Cape Town on the weekend, with 100% chance of heavy rain predicted, which means a tactical game will be at the order of the day.
Solomons is therefore a relieved man that his pivot, Demetri Catrakilis, has recovered in time to face his old team-mates. He injured his calf muscle against the Cheetahs last week which kept him from the field at the Springbok camp earlier this week.
Solomons said they know what to expect from the home side.
"It will be a kicking contest," he told Die Burger's website.
"I've lived most of my life in Cape Town - and when you get a series of cold fronts coming in - then the weather gets really bad.
They (the Stormers) will kick - and they can do that well. It's good news for us that Demetri is ready for the clash," continued Solomons.
Kick-off for the game is at 17:05.
