Pretoria - Craig Joubert will referee the Bulls v Brumbies Super Rugby semi-final at Loftus Versfeld, whilst Steve Walsh will oversee the Chiefs v Crusaders on Saturday.
South Africa's most-decorated currently active referee, Joubert, was rewarded for a consistently high level of performance throughout the Super Rugby season in a year when referees have come under a lot of criticism.
Joubert, who officiated the 2010 Super Rugby final and 2011 Rugby World Cup final, has again been entrusted with the whistle in the important match in Pretoria, with Jaco Peyper and Stuart Berry as his assistants, and Shaun Veldsman as the TMO.
Steve Walsh will be assisted by Glen Jackson and Chris Pollock, with Glenn Newman as the TMO in the all-New Zealand playoff between the Chiefs and Crusaders in Hamilton.
