Jantjies back for Lions

Johannesburg - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his 23-man side to face the Cell C Sharks in a Super Rugby match at Kings Park on Saturday evening.

Up front, Ackermann has opted largely for consistency, making just one change in the front row, with hooker Willie Wepener coming into the starting line-up, replacing Robbie Coetzee who moves to the bench.

In the backline, flyhalf Elton Jantjies makes his long-awaited return having fully recovered from a shoulder injury.

As a result, a backline reshuffle sees Marnitz Boshoff shifted to fullback with Chrysander Botha starting at left wing and Ruan Combrinck moving across to right wing. Deon van Rensburg will start at outside centre.

On the bench, prop Corne Fourie has earned selection and will look to make his Super Rugby debut on Saturday.

The match will kick off at 19:10.
