Former captain back for Bulls

Pretoria - Following successful negotiations with his Japanese club, Yamaha Jubilo, former Bulls captain Dewald Potgieter joined up with his Pretoria team-mates again.

Potgieter, 27, received the necessary release clearances from his club and will be available to theBulls immediately for the rest of the regular Super Rugby season, the Blue Bulls Company announced on Monday.

“Dewald will be available to play with immediate effect and until the 11th of July, after which he will have to return to Japan for their pre-season,” High Performance Manager, Xander Janse van Rensburg confirmed.

“We would really like to thank Yamaha for their co-operation in this regard and the professional attitude they have shown during our negotiations. It is wonderful to have Dewald back and I know he will contribute tremendously to our campaign."

Potgieter played 66 Super Rugby matches for the Bulls before his departure to Japan in August last year.
