Force upset Rebels in Melbourne

Cape Town - The Force have upset the Rebels in their final all-Australian derby in Melbourne on Friday.

As it happened: Rebels v Force

The Force won 13-11 after leading 6-3 at half-time.

The Force scored a try through wing Luke Morahan, while flyhalf Zack Holmes added the conversion and two penalties.

The Rebels replied with a try by replacement Telusa Veainu and two penalties by fullback Mike Harris.

The Force picked up four points for their victory, but finished the season bottom of the Australian Conference and 15th in the Overall standings.

The Rebels picked up a point for losing by seven or fewer points, and finished the season third in the Australian Conference and 10th in the Overall log.
