Cape Town - After returning from his first Springbok camp, Cheetahs centre Robert Ebersohn is now more determined than ever to play Test rugby.
The 24-year-old was part of the Bok training camp which gathered in Cape Town for two days preparing for the international season starting in June.
Ebersohn feels it was just reward for his fine form in Super Rugby this year, where he helped the Cheetahs to a franchise record of five wins on the trot.
However, he is well aware that he needs to perform at that level week in, week out for the rest of the season if he is to realise his dream.
"You have to keep your form. You won't get picked just because you played four good games at the beginning of the Super-series," he told the Volksblad website.
"If you go off the boil, then Heyneke (Meyer - Bok coach) can easily pick someone else. Therefore the challenge for me is to play the best rugby of my life just before the Super Rugby break."
He will get a chance to maintain that good form when the Cheetahs play the Sharks in Durban (17:05 kick-off) on Saturday, where he is likely to come up against former Cheetahs team-mate Meyer Bosman.
After the Sharks game, Cheetahs host the Kings before receiving a bye. After that they face the Hurricanes, Reds, Kings (away) and Bulls before the international break in June.
