Durban - Sharks loose forward Jean Deysel says that he is happy to be back in Durban after his short stint in Japan.
Rugby365 reports that after only a year at Toyota Verblitz in Japan, Deysel is back at the union he left after the 2014 Super Rugby season.
He initially had no intention of returning to play in South Africa after signing a two-year contract for the Top League side.
However, Deysel revealed that a brief discussion with Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold a few weeks ago made it an easy decision for him to return to the Durban-based franchise.
He played just over 30 minutes for the Sharks in their 35-29 defeat by the Cheetahs at Kings Park and shared that the physical nature of Super Rugby was something that he had missed along with the traditional South African braai.
The Sharks play their second match of the Super Rugby season when they host the Lions on Saturday.
