De Klerk benched by Lions

Johannesburg - Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his 23-man team to take on the Stormers in a Super Rugby clash at Newlands on Saturday.

In the backline, Ross Cronjé will start at scrumhalf in place of Faf de Klerk, while Anthony Volmink makes his first Super Rugby start of the year at left wing.

Chrysander Botha starts at fullback in place of the injured Andries Coetzee.

Up front, Robbie Coetzee will start at hooker, in place of Willie Wepener, while Jaco Kriel returns to the starting line-up at flank, with Willie Britz moving to the bench.

The match will kick off at 17:05.
